Bio

Allison Walsh is an adroit corporate generalist with special expertise in asset management, international transactions, finance and labor and employment law. Her experience includes:

  • Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer for Bunge Investment Management, an asset manager inside a global agribusiness, where she was responsible for corporate formation, governance and transactions in the UK, Switzerland, Brazil, Latin America, China and many other countries throughout the developing world.
  • Counsel and Director of Intergovernmental Relations for the New York City Comptroller, the City’s Chief Financial Officer, where she fought the Mayor on bond issuances and used the Comptroller’s powers to influence New York City watershed protection and parks policies, while serving as management employment and litigation counsel.
  • Sive Paget & Riesel, a full-service environmental and general practice law firm.

Allison received her JD from the University of Chicago Law School in 1988 and her BA, Cum Laude, from the University of Virginia in 1985. She is admitted to practice before the courts of the states of New York and California and the SDNY, EDNY and the NDCA as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. She recently received a Mediation Certificate from the Institute for Understanding in Conflict and Mediation in Law. Allison speaks several languages.
